About Space General options
The General options menu in Space allows you to enable and configure different options within Space.
It is important to remember that the display of certain fields in Space is controlled by the options you select in Space General options. These settings are generally configured by system administrators.
It is recommended that you consult with your Salto technical support contact before making any substantial changes.
You can go to System > General options to view the General options screen, which contains different tabs.
This section explains these tabs in detail, and describes the various configuration tasks related to each of them.
The tabs shown in the General options screen depend on your Space license. Some features such as Locations/Functions, SHIP, Elevators or Face recognition are license-dependent. See Lockdown areas for more information.
Applying configuration changes
Salto enables the most common features for installations in Space General options to prevent security issues and to allow for ease of operation. However, you can make any required amendments to these settings if you have the appropriate permissions.
