Alarm outputs in Space
Overview
You can use the Alarm output feature, for example, to activate an alarm in case of fire.
You enable or disable alarm outputs - a type of electrical permission or authorization used to activate control unit (CU)relays - in the Alarm outputs screen.
Note that you need first to configure alarm outputs from the corresponding node screens in System > Salto Network to be able to activate or deactivate alarm outputs. See Salto Network for more information.
Activating alarm outputs
To activate an alarm output, follow the steps below:
- Select Monitoring > Alarm outputs. The Alarm outputs screen is displayed.
Select the alarm output you want to activate.
Click on Switch on. The Switch on alarm output dialog box is displayed.
Select the alarm output duration and click OK.
A pop-up confirming that the operation was successful is displayed.
Click OK.
Deactivating alarm outputs
To deactivate an alarm output, follow the steps below:
- Select Monitoring > Alarm outputs. The Alarm outputs screen is displayed.
Select the alarm output you want to deactivate.
Click on Switch off. A pop-up confirming that the operation was successful is displayed.
Click OK.
