Homelok release notes September 2026

2026-09-09

Destinations feature launched New feature Homelok web Nebula app

Salto Homelok now supports destinations, alongside a new output expansion unit accessory for the BLUEnet Controller. Destinations represent secured access points within an installation, such as elevator floors, that only activate for users with appropriate permissions. The primary use case is elevator control, where presenting a key at a reader only activates the buttons for the floors a user has access to.

The output expansion unit adds up to 4 additional relays to a BLUEnet Controller, so you can control more destinations or doors from a single controller.

Destinations can only be configured using Homelok web, in conjunction with the Nebula Commissioning app. The Homelok app does not support creating destinations.

See the following sections for more information about how to use destinations in your Homelok installation:

Salto Homelok now also supports the exit reader unit, a new accessory for the BLUEnet Controller. The exit reader unit adds a second wall reader connection to a controller, enabling separate entry and exit control for a door.
