Overview of Nebula devices Beta
This section provides an overview of the Salto devices that you can use in the Salto Nebula and Homelok systems. This includes electronic locks as well as more peripheral devices such as gateways.

Electronic lock | Neo Cylinder Neoxx padlock XS4 Original+ XS4 One XS4 Mini DBolt Touch | Electronic locks come in a variety of different types such as cylinders or escutcheons. |
Gateway | IQ3 IQ3 Mini | Gateways are hardware devices intended to be used with electronic locks where online connectivity is needed. |
Controller | BLUEnet Controller | Controllers are mains-wired hardware devices that can be used to control access where a standalone lock cannot be fitted. |
Reader | Design XS Reader | A reader is an electronic device often mounted on a wall beside a door or other type of access point like a car park barrier that is often connected directly to a controller. Readers, also known as 'wall readers', are used to control access to an installation's access points. |
Encoder | NCoder Nebula | An encoder is an external device that reads and updates keys with access information, writes access permissions onto physical keys. Encoders can be enabled for USB or Ethernet connections. |
Extender | BLUEnet Node | Extenders are devices like repeaters or nodes which allow the distance between a gateway and an electronic lock to be increased. These devices forward communication signals between electronic locks and gateways. |
Some features, such as offline events, are not supported by every model of lock. See the section about offline events for more details.
