Cómo restablecer dispositivos en Nebula

Introducción

This section refers to resetting devices which have already been initially configured in Salto Nebula. Para configurar dispositivos en una instalación por primera vez, consulta la sección sobre cómo configurar dispositivos.

Restablecer un dispositivo, como una cerradura electrónica o un gateway, supone devolverlo a la configuración de fábrica. El restablecimiento es el proceso de eliminar la identidad, así como toda la información asociada, de un dispositivo ya configurado. Una vez se restablece un dispositivo, es necesario reconfigurarlo.

Para restablecer un dispositivo ya configurado, el instalador debe tener los permisos adecuados dentro de la instalación en la que primeramente se configuró.

Cómo restablecer un dispositivo

To reset a device, do the following:

• Enter the Devices section of the app and select the nearby device you want to reset.
• Press the Reset button that displays below the name of the device you selected (this option will only display for previously configured devices).
• Asegúrate de que tu teléfono móvil está cerca del dispositivo que estás restableciendo.
• A confirmation message, like "Are you sure you want to reset Main office door?" will display.
• Once the reset process has finished, you'll see the "Device reset correctly" message.

Resetting gateways

Gateway devices such as the IQ3 or IQ3 Mini require an additional step to reset them.

To initiate the "advertising" process, you must first short press the CLR button on the device. Once you've done this, the LED will start blinking. You can then follow the steps described above to reset the device using the Nebula app.
