Batería
It is important to replace all 4 batteries at the same time. Use only approved disposable CR123 lithium batteries. See recommended brands below. Not replacing all batteries at the same time can cause the batteries to heat up and potentially cause them to explode or combust. Danalock has no responsibility in any way if the replacement of batteries is done inaccurately.
Which type of batteries does the Danalock V3 use?
The Danalock V3 locks uses 4x CR123A batteries, also known under these names DL123A, CR17345. The Danalock V3 is only certified with Panasonic CR123A and Duracell CR123A batteries, and we recommend only using these two brands.
Usage of rechargeable batteries not recommended
We discourage using rechargeable batteries as they may supply a higher voltage (up to 3.7 volts) than the normal 3.0 volts. This can lead to an increased fire hazard. The use of rechargeable batteries will void the warranty of the lock.
Avoid mixing brands
It is not recommended to mix different brands or versions of the same brand. Always use 4 identical batteries.
How to change batteries
To change the batteries in the Danalock V3:
- Remove the battery cover at the bottom of the Danalock.
- Pull the string to release the batteries and insert the new batteries.
- Once inserted the lock will flash white for about 3 seconds.
We recommend that you re-calibrate the lock after a battery change.
