Auto Unlock
The Auto Unlock feature allows the Danalock V3 to detect your arrival and unlock the door when you get home.
It uses your phone's GPS geofencing functionality to recognize when you are approaching. Once you enter your home zone, the app searches for your lock and unlocks it when you are within Bluetooth range.
To activate Auto Unlock, you must leave and re-enter your home zone.
Set up a geofence zone and enable 'Auto Unlock'.
The Auto Unlock feature may be affected by factors beyond Danalock's control, such as phone model, operating system settings, GPS, Bluetooth, and environmental conditions. These factors can impact its performance or cause it to fail.
End to End
The End to End Operation mode is designed for locks where the inner and outer parts of the cylinder are not connected. In these locks, turning the key does not rotate the Danalock V3, meaning it cannot detect whether the door is locked or unlocked.
In this mode, the Danalock V3 turns in one direction until it reaches the endpoint. Each time the lock unlocks, it recalibrates to ensure the correct lock status. However, if the lock is manually locked with a key, the app may display an incorrect status.
Do you need End to End operation?
Check if you need this mode:
Open the door, insert the key, and turn it.
If the inside thumbturn does not rotate along with the key, enable the End to End feature.
Ensure the inside thumbturn moves fully to the unlocked position and that the Danalock app updates accordingly. If not, end to end feature.
Enable 'End to End' by pushing the button to the right and remember to calibrate the lock after enabling 'End to End'.
How to enable End to End.
Find End to End in the Lock Settings menu and activate it.
Make sure to run a new calibration after enabling End to End.
