Unlike the full Salto KS app, Salto KS Keychain excludes administrative or site-management tools, resulting in a smaller app size, faster downloads, minimal storage usage, and improved performance. This makes it ideal for devices with limited capacity or weaker internet connections.

The Salto KS Keychain app is available for iOS and Android and supports Digital Key functionality, including a widget and compatibility with Apple Watch and Wear OS smartwatches.

Profile and settings

Click your profile icon in the lower‑right corner of the screen, then select Profile & Settings from the menu.

From here, you can manage the following options:

• Edit Profile: Opens the Salto KS web app, where you can manage your personal profile and account settings. You can update basic information such as your name, language preferences, contact details, password, and two‑factor authentication (2FA) settings.
• Smartwatch: Activate and use your Digital Key on your smartwatch (Apple Watch or Wear OS).
• Digital Key Settings: Manage your Digital Key by resetting or deleting it when needed. You can also view all devices where your Digital Key is activated and block or remove access from specific devices.
• PIN Settings: Assign a new PIN or manage an existing one. If your site allows Custom PINs, you can choose to create your own PIN or have one generated automatically. You can also reassign or block your PIN as required.
• Other Settings: Customize your app experience by switching between light mode and dark mode.
