Kalibrierung
Before you can start using your Danalock V3, you need to calibrate it to set the lock and unlock positions.
Calibration method
From March 2024 the calibration methods.
The methods include a 4 and 5-point calibration, giving your lock a more accurate calibration.
The calibration methods require your lock to have firmware version 0.23.14 or later installed.
4 and 5-point calibration
Whether you need to run a 4-point or 5-point calibration depends on if you have the Hold Back Latch feature enabled.
You should enable the Hold Back Latch feature if:
- Your lock case has a retractable latch (for example, when turning the thumb turn also pulls the latch back).
When this feature is enabled, the calibration requires one extra step—making it a 5-point calibration.
If your lock case has a retractable latch, you need to enable the 'Hold back latch' feature
If your lock case doesn't have a retractable latch, and you don't have the Hold Back Latch feature enabled, you run a 4-point calibration.
You can enable the 'Hold Back Latch feature' either in 'Lock settings' or during the calibration process in the Danalock app.
Calibration in the Danalock app
We recommend running the calibration through the Danalock app.
This process is called a semi-automatic calibration.
We advise that you calibrate your lock during the enrollment process.
That way, your lock is ready for use the moment it's added to your Danalock account.
Find more information about calibration during enrollment in the App guides.
If you want to perform the calibration later or need to re-calibrate the lock, you can do this by going to 'Lock settings' > 'Calibrate lock'.
You will be guided through the calibration process in the Danalock app.
If you want a further introduction and a video guide on how to do the calibration in the Danalock app, you can find it in the video below.
The calibration method is only supported in the V3 app - not the Classic app. You can find the link to the V3 app for iOS and Android in the App guides.
Calibration with click commands
You also have the option to run a semi-automatic calibration using click commands.
You can find further info about Click commands on the Click commands page
If you want to be guided through the calibration, you can find video guides on how to run the calibration with click commands in the sections below.
There a two video guides - depending on if you have the Hold Back Latch feature enabled or not.
