Mobile App - Commissioning
The XS4 Sense mobile app makes it easy to set up, configure, and manage your energy saving system. Installers can commission devices, connect them to the controller, and define how the system should work. Once configured, administrators and operators can use the app to monitor system status, check device health, and manage daily operations in real time. All from their smartphone.

Description
The XS4 Sense Mobile app is divided into three distinct sections:
Connection Setup, System Configuration and Monitoring and Administration.
Connection Setup
This section is used by installers and administrators to connect the XS4 Sense system to the local XS4 Sense Server and the XS4 Sense Cloud.
About / Settings
XS4 Sense Server Setting
- Click the gear icon to open the About / Settings section. In the Appliance server URL field, enter the IP address shown at the end of the server services installation process IP Address
It is important to enter the address in the following format, making sure to include the port 5555 at the end: i.e http://10.33.191.50:5555
- If the XS4 Sense server is running, press CHECK CONNECTION to verify that the server is reachable. Make sure that the smartphone you are using is connected to a Wi-Fi network that can access the XS4 Sense server.
XS4 Sense Cloud Setting
- Click the gear icon to open the About / Settings section.
In the XS4 Sense Cloud URL field:
https://xs4sense.saltosystems.com
together with the received credentials.
Enter the credentials provided for commissioning activities. These can be generated from the Cloud Portal and are available in the Cloud Users section. The required access level for this user is Level 1. If you need to perform offline commissioning, you can skip the cloud authentication step.
By pressing CHECK CONNECTION, you can verify that the smartphone can reach the XS4 Sense cloud and authenticate successfully.
Press SAVE CONFIGURATION to complete the setup and save your changes.
Controller Settings
Through this section, you can modify the controller behaviors, define the sources, and set the basic parameters for the Wi-Fi connection.
