Space configuration

Orion supports Salto Access Control Systems by providing a face authentication option for permitting access to online access points.

The system connects to Salto Space to facilitate user enrollment through the Orion Enrollment Service.

To install the Orion Server, SHIP has to be configured as HTTP(S) using custom authentication and a unique API key. This can be done in the Salto SHIP Server panel of Space and allows for Orion to check access permissions during recognition.

Salto Space also needs a key from Orion to allow for enrollment via Space. The API key that is required in the Face recognition tab is generated during the Orion Server installation process
