Homelok release notes June 2024

Move in / move out

New feature

2024-06-24

The Move in and Move out feature is a new way of organizing and managing the units that belong to the property and the flow of adding and removing tenants. It is a similar concept to check in and check out the hospitality industry. It means that property managers and owners no longer have to add users to a unit one by one. Instead, they can add several unit users in one quick action, as well as remove them in one action, using the move out functionality.

Move in example in HomelokYou use the 'Move in' button to move users into a unit

This feature also adds 2 new statuses to units:

  • Vacant: displayed on units that have not been moved in. That's to say, no users or keys belong to the unit.
  • Occupied: means that users have been added to the unit.

For a full description of this feature, see the respective sections in the Homelok user guide:

Deprecated
