Installing the XS4 Sense components - online configuration
About installing
Before reading this guide you should first make sure you have read and understood the section on system requirements and considerations for installing XS4 Sense.
This section contains a step-by-step guide on how to install and configure the software components required to access and use XS4 Sense.
Two installation modes are available: online and offline.
In online mode, the controller is fully integrated with the XS4 Sense Server, enabling centralized management and communication with other system components.
In offline mode, the XS4 Sense Server is not required. The controller operates in standalone mode, without server connectivity.
Installation process
The installation process should be performed in the following order by a systems administrator with admin rights in Sense. This role is referred to here as the admin operator:
Installation prerequisites are checked
The admin operator checks that the correct hardware and software requirements are met before beginning the installation process.
Sense installation files are obtained
- The admin operator (or other appropriate manager) selects the appropriate licensing options as part of purchasing XS4 Sense.
