Homelok release notes November 2025
Over the air firmware updates for gateways New feature Homelok web
You can now update the firmware of gateway devices, like the IQ3 or IQ3 Mini, using Homelok web. These updates are referred to as OTA updates, as the firmware is downloaded and installed directly to the device via the internet, without needing physical access.
This option is currently only available for gateways. Firmware updates can only be triggered one at a time and cannot be scheduled for a specific time or performed in batches.
To update the firmware use the Update firmware button on the device's detail page.

Note that firmware updates may take several minutes to complete and this action cannot be undone or interrupted. The updated firmware version will only be visible once the gateway has reconnected and is showing as online (blue status). The page does not refresh automatically, so you will need to close and reopen the device tab after the gateway has reconnected to see the updated firmware version.
