Homelok release notes February 2025
Opening modes Changed
We've made a change to the opening modes section in Homelok. When you create an electronic lock, the screen now displays two checkboxes. The first one (Default) is displayed if you do not define a custom opening mode. If this option is selected, the lock will remain in default or factory mode.
The default mode of a lock (or the factory mode that's set before the lock is configured) depends on the type of lock. For example, a cylinder like the Salto Neo, or an XS4 One escutcheon, automatically lock ten seconds after they are unlocked.
The options for selecting a lock's opening mode have changed
If you select Custom, a selection of custom opening modes can be selected. Standard mode changes to Autolock (formerly standard). This is the default mode for the majority of Salto's range of electronic locks.
Note that the opening mode options can change once the device is configured. The options displayed can vary from allowing you to choose custom or just the modes applicable for the specific device that has been configured.
See the section on opening modes for more details.
