# Salto XS4 Face release notes October 2026
> XS4 Face release notes for October 2026 cover multiple access control integrations on one site, multi-server support in the XS4 Face Console, a server filter for access logs, unlimited user vouchers and user synchronization for every integration.

## 2026-10-24 · v-26.5.10 {#v-26-5-10}

This release lets a site use more than one access control integration at the same time, keeps Enviso users in sync automatically and includes reliability improvements.

### More than one access control integration on a site {{% label type="new" %}} {#more-than-one-access-control-integration-on-a-site}

System administrators can now enable the Space, KS, GT7 and Enviso integrations on the same site.
Previously, the XS4 Face Console allowed only one of these integrations at a time.
Each XS4 Face Device is paired with a control point from one integration, and that integration decides access for the device.
If no integration handles an access request from a device, access is denied.
For more information, see [Using more than one access control integration](/xs4face/user-guide/systems-admin/features#using-more-than-one-access-control-integration).

### One control point for each device {{% label type="changed" %}} {#one-control-point-for-each-device}

Each XS4 Face Device can now be paired with only one control point.
In the device list, the **Pair** button no longer appears for a device that is already paired.
If you try to pair a device that already has a control point, the XS4 Face Console shows the message **This device is already paired with a control point**.
For more information, see [Devices](/xs4face/user-guide/systems-admin/monitoring#devices).

### Enviso user synchronization {{% label type="changed" %}} {#enviso-user-synchronization}

The Enviso integration now periodically compares the users it links to XS4 Face with the users enrolled on the XS4 Face Server, and corrects any differences automatically.
It works in the same way as the Salto Space and IDM user synchronization.

### Access logs without a detected face {{% label type="changed" %}} {#access-logs-without-a-detected-face}

The **Access Logs** no longer include access attempts where the XS4 Face Device didn't detect a face.
These entries were frequent and added little information.
Attempts where the device detects a face but doesn't recognize it still appear in the **Access Logs**.
For more information, see [Access Logs](/xs4face/user-guide/systems-admin/monitoring#access-logs).

### Bug fixes {{% label type="fix" %}} {#v-26-5-10-bug-fixes}

- Fixed an issue where deleting an XS4 Face Server from a site with more than one server disabled **Access Logs** and **Devices** in the XS4 Face Console.
- Fixed an issue where the XS4 Face Server installation could stop with an error saying that the server's IP address doesn't exist on the server, even though it does.

## 2026-10-13 · v-26.5.9 {#v-26-5-9}

This release improves support for sites with more than one XS4 Face Server in the XS4 Face Console, keeps Salto Space and IDM users in sync automatically and includes reliability and security improvements.

### Redesigned Servers page {{% label type="changed" %}} {#redesigned-servers-page}

The **Servers** page in the XS4 Face Console now lists every XS4 Face Server on the site, instead of only the first one.
System administrators can search for a server by name or IP address and switch between **Cards** and **Table** views.
The table view shows the number of XS4 Face Devices on each server and lets you filter servers by connection status.
On desktop browsers, sites with more than 9 servers open in the table view.
The **Add Server** button is now at the top of the page, and any server that isn't connected shows as **Disconnected**.
For more information, see [Server](/xs4face/user-guide/systems-admin/monitoring#server).

### Server selection when adding a device {{% label type="new" %}} {#server-selection-when-adding-a-device}

When you select **Add Device** on the **Devices** page of a site with more than one XS4 Face Server, the XS4 Face Console now asks you to select the server for the new XS4 Face Device before you pair it with a control point.
When you add a device from a server's own page, the console uses that server.
For more information, see [Device commissioning](/xs4face/user-guide/installer/device-commissioning#step-by-step).

### Enrollment status for each server {{% label type="changed" %}} {#enrollment-status-for-each-server}

**User Enrollment Search** on the **Enrollments** page now checks a user's enrollment on every XS4 Face Server on the site.
The **Server Status** shows whether the user is enrolled on all servers, on some of them, or whether the servers are offline.
Operators can open a list of the servers that need attention to see where the user isn't enrolled.
For more information, see [Enrollments](/xs4face/user-guide/systems-admin/monitoring#enrollments).

### Salto Space and IDM user synchronization {{% label type="changed" %}} {#salto-space-and-idm-user-synchronization}

The Salto Space and IDM integrations now periodically compare the users they link to XS4 Face with the users enrolled on the XS4 Face Server, and correct any differences automatically.
This keeps enrollments in the access control system and in XS4 Face aligned without manual action.
For more information about the integrations, see [Features](/xs4face/user-guide/systems-admin/features).

### Bug fixes {{% label type="fix" %}} {#v-26-5-9-bug-fixes}

- Improved how the XS4 Face Server processes enrollment images when it handles several at the same time.
- Fixed an issue in the XS4 Face Device software image that could produce an incorrect storage configuration.

### Security improvements {{% label type="security" %}} {#v-26-5-9-security-improvements}

This release includes security improvements, including more secure generation of GT7 pairing codes.

## 2026-10-09 · v-26.5.8 {#v-26-5-8}

This release keeps Salto KS and GT7 users in sync automatically and includes security improvements.

### Salto KS and GT7 user synchronization {{% label type="changed" %}} {#salto-ks-and-gt7-user-synchronization}

The KS and GT7 integrations now periodically compare the users they link to XS4 Face with the users enrolled on the XS4 Face Server, and correct any differences automatically.

### Other improvements {{% label type="changed" %}} {#v-26-5-8-other-improvements}

- Updated the face recognition engine.

### Security improvements {{% label type="security" %}} {#v-26-5-8-security-improvements}

This release includes security improvements.

## 2026-10-06 · v-26.5.7 {#v-26-5-7}

This release adds a server filter to the access logs, supports unlimited user vouchers and improves how XS4 Face Servers keep users in sync.

### Server filter in access logs {{% label type="new" %}} {#server-filter-in-access-logs}

The **Access Logs** have a new **Server Name** column that shows which XS4 Face Server handled each access request, and you can filter the logs by server.
For more information, see [Access Logs](/xs4face/user-guide/systems-admin/monitoring#access-logs).

### Unlimited user vouchers {{% label type="new" %}} {#unlimited-user-vouchers}

The XS4 Face Console supports vouchers with an unlimited number of users.
For these sites, the user limit shows as **∞**.
For more information, see [Site License](/xs4face/user-guide/systems-admin/licensing#site-license).

### Site license details {{% label type="changed" %}} {#site-license-details}

The **Site Overview** card now shows the site status and installation date only.
The license limits for the site are on the **Site License** card.
For more information, see [Site License](/xs4face/user-guide/systems-admin/licensing#site-license).

### User synchronization {{% label type="changed" %}} {#v-26-5-7-user-synchronization}

XS4 Face Servers now resynchronize their enrolled users with the XS4 Face cloud, so that enrollments on every server stay up to date.
