# Salto XS4 Face release notes August 2026

## 2026-08-27 · v-26.4.17 {#v-26-4-17}

This release adds a server check to the customer handover, makes commissioning QR codes easier to use and shortens the XS4 Face Console session timeout.

The customer handover checklist in the XS4 Face Console now checks that **A server is online** for the site.

### Expandable commissioning QR codes {{% label type="changed" %}} {#expandable-commissioning-qr-codes}

When you add a device, select **Expand** to show a larger commissioning QR code that is easier to scan.

### Session timeout {{% label type="changed" %}} {#session-timeout}

The XS4 Face Console now logs you out after 15 minutes without activity.

### Enrollments without a server {{% label type="changed" %}} {#enrollments-without-a-server}

The **Enrollments** page is now available before you add an XS4 Face Server to the site.

### Bug fixes {{% label type="fix" %}} {#v-26-4-17-bug-fixes}

- Fixed an issue where pressing **Esc** closed the exit confirmation of the server installation wizard as soon as it opened.
- Fixed an issue where the server page didn't return to the server list after the server was deleted.
- Fixed an issue with the server installation script.
- Fixed an issue where the status of GT7 devices didn't update.
- Fixed an issue where **Beta** badges were cut off on the integration tiles.

This release adds server logs to the XS4 Face Console.

A new **Server Logs** tab on the server page shows the logs of an XS4 Face Server.
You can select which parts of the server software to show logs for, filter by log level and time range, search for a keyword and turn on live logs.

This release improves the Salto Space integration and includes reliability improvements.

- Fixed an issue where the Space integration could remove users who were still enrolled.
- Fixed an issue where the Space integration didn't update users correctly when their identifier in Salto Space changed.

## 2026-08-11 · v-26.4.11 {#v-26-4-11}

This release renames **Integrations** to **Features**, adds a setting for GT7 enrollment emails and includes security improvements.

In the XS4 Face Console, the **Integrations** page is now called **Features**.

### GT7 enrollment emails {{% label type="new" %}} {#gt7-enrollment-emails}

The GT7 integration has a new **Send enrolment emails** setting.
Turn it off to stop XS4 Face from sending enrollment emails to GT7 users.
